Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The perfect place to host a birthday dinner with close ones! I stumbled upon this place mid Febraury as I looked to celebrate my big 30. Fumio, the owner, was incredibly kind and responsive, helping me plan out the event and recommending the best dishes/platters for a group of about 15 people. The space has a very calm and artsy vibe to it, and I love the floor seating style which allowed for a much more flowy/relaxed vibe to the evening. The drinks were absolutely superb, and Fumio even let me play my own music playlist and have a projector with a photo slideshow in the background. This was such a memorable and lovely evening - big thanks to Fumio and his wife, Miho, for making this possibe. I cannot wait to come back one day for a drink and meal!

Just went to Mirror in the Woods for the second time since moving to the neighborhood, and it didnβt disappoint. The space is intimate and cozy, perfect for cold weather, with an excellent selection of fresh teas. The matcha white hot chocolate was outstanding, and we loved the tofu and mushroom entrΓ©e along with the avocado mochi bites. Beautiful presentation all around β truly 10/10. Already looking forward to our next visit.

They need reservation! Food is absolutely good. Large size. Yummy. The environment is very unique. Like a gallery. Itβs somewhere I will come back. Two people, two nonalcoholic drinks, two dishes. Paid 52$/person. Good price considering its quantity and quality.

This place is such a rare find! From the moment we walked through the entrance, the vibes were immaculate β warm, inviting, and full of character. The entire space, from the dining area to the bathroom, was thoughtfully curated and cozy. The food? Absolutely incredible. The tempura was light, crispy, and perfectly executed. They even managed to make beetroot and shredded carrot taste divine β no small feat! There was an impressive array of teas to choose from and a surprisingly large variety of dishes. The scallops and shrimp mochi bites were generously portioned and full of flavor. We dined at one of only four intimate tables. With a grand piano in the corner and our host quietly locking the door after we arrived, it truly felt like we were dining in someoneβs home. Such a unique, special experience β one I wonβt forget anytime soon.
